I have returned from an awesome weekend of scrapbooking with 5 other friends. I first wanted to say ladies but after this weekend I call them my friends. We had lots of laughs, jokes, delicious food, very late nights for most of these ladies that are pushing closer to 40 than 30, and lots of scrapbooking. I think I did 32 pages. One of my friends, a first timer thought she'd be getting lots done if she did 10. She told us we are serious about this. I think the funniest, or most unexpected things of the weekend was exposing one of the ladies to Johnny Cash. I never dreamt we would play Johnny Cash, I walk the line, to broaden the horizons of my friend.

This "first-timer" did sure get an eye-opener on some dedicated scrapbookers. My 11-year old daughter was awed at all the pages I got done. Thanks, pals, for loaning this inexperienced rookie your supplies when my well ran dry.

You left me a comment. I'll see if I can answer your question! NO, my husband did not drive truck when our kids were litle. We lived in VA till 8 years ago when we moved to WI. We were dairy farmers until 41/2 years ago when we sold the cows & my husband started driving truck. He worked for a local company for a year flatbedding & then we bought the truck & for 21/2 years he did go cross country hauling cattle. He liked that but he was gone from home so much & there was no set schedule so when he was home all it took was a phone call & he was out the door! It's almost a year now that he bought a dump trailer & he's leased to a company close to Milwaukee * does more regional as in WI, MN, IN, IL, & MI. Sometimes more then that but what we like about this is that he is home every weekend. He can be gone several nights a week but he can aslo stop by the house every now & then even if he is gone at night. We live close to the interstate so that makes it easy for him to stop in. I don't know how you do it with young kids. That's got to be hard. I also know that God gives grace for whatever situation He puts us in. God bless you & thanks for leaving a comment on my site.
