Career Change
Yesterday Clarence handed over the key of his KW to the new owner. About nine months ago, just like a pregancy, we were asked if we would be interested in buying an agricutural based business. After much prayer, research, and the doors opening one after the other and we kept going through we have decided to buy Pullets Plus. We are very excited about this opportunity for our family. As I stood at the kitchen window and watched the truck go over the hill it was with mixed emotions. Sadness that this stage in life is over but extremely excited that my husband was standing beside me as we watched it go. Both of us were very tired after the first week of adjusting to new schedules and learning new things. Clarence will be growing day old chicks to 19 weeks and then selling them. As I grow more familiar with the business I can give better details. It looks like I could have some office work and upkeep of the property such as lawn mowing etc. We are feeling are way right now.

I can imagine how you must have mixed feelings about the career change. (Even I felt a small pang when I saw the picture of Clarence giving over his truck). You haven't known anything other than trucking for so many years. We're praying that the new job will be an easy adjustment and that you will both enjoy your new roles! God bless.
Judy, I left the anonymous message. I haven't figured out how to get my name. I don't have a google account, so I'll try to sign in as "other".
This is what I'd been waiting for. Guess I hadn't checked for a while.
I was atyour concert and even I, who am somewaht tone deaf, knew that it was really good! Glad it was such a great experience for the choir members too. Mary H
So glad you enjoyed the concert. It is wonderful getting feed back on it. What was your favorite piece?
What a change it will be for your family!!! But a good one, I think for your boys and having their dad around more. Best wishes and easy adjustment!!!
