I Won!

Awhile ago I mentioned that I am entering a Dutch Oven cook off contest and I am very excited to say that I won 2nd place in the beginners catergory. This was only the 3rd time I used my Dutch Oven. I found this awesome recipe on http://papadutch.home.comcast.net and I win with that recipe every time. I submitted a dish called Cheesy Chicken Italiono. One of the contestants said it's better than East Side Mario's. I said don't tell my husband that because that is one of my favorite Italian restaurants and I want to go more often! My prize was a lifter for the dutch oven. I am very pleased with that.
Please keep me in your prayers for the next few weeks as I volunteered to teach the youngest class in summer bible School. I have not gone away for 5 nights in a row for two weeks since my oldest son was born 5 1/2 years ago. So this is a big stepping out into another world other then one of toddlers.

Martin family update

I was informed in church this past sun. a.m. that I have not updated for awhile and it's true I haven't.
We just finished a 5 day stretch that Clarence was home! Imagine that! In that time frame my oldest son won a trophy at a bike rodeo and my youngest had tubes put in his ears yesterday. Both boys also got a buzz cut. Jackson's surgery went very well and it remains to be seen yet how this will affect his speech.
We also have been very busy with outdoor work.
