Is this a good reason to Scrapbook?
Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance. 2Peter 1:15

I thnk its a great reason---I just went last night and bought a scrapbook for Knox, so that I can start doing his baby pictures. I'm going to have so much fun. You should share how you scrapbook...Creative Memories? Kits? I generally do all my own ideas but occasionally will buy kits at Big Lots...

I personally am not a fan of Creative Memories. I usually do my ideas, basically background paper to match photo, some matting, appropiate stickers or die cuts, computer journal. I watch for kits on sale at Michael's. A home party type company that I really like is Close to my Heart. I also throw in an embellishment here or there too. Nothing fancy. I do think in Bible verses or songs as titles for pages. i.e. fruit of the vine for a page on doing grapes. Your bk by Mary tatem was good. am looking forward to a bk Hugs for scrapbookers to read this evening.

I'd love to see your scrapbooks. They sound similar to mine. The Creative Memories scrapbooks I've seen seem to have too many pictures on each page and the stickers are too small. I also do a lot of computer journaling...and I like to add poems and quotes to the pages.

I think we would enjoy each others' books. too bad you can't join me this coming weekend when I go away all weekend to scrapbook! I am excited once I have the worship hour wrapped up. I love to add poems & sayings too. I keep going back until I have thought of just the right title or saying. It takes me several years to finish a book then. Next time you come to NY lets try & meet up.

We're going up to Niagara Falls in April to see his Grandmother and the rest of the family. I'm not sure how it will work out because its for a long weekend and we have 15 million people to see. We will be up the next year for a wedding we think though. Don't we have to get passports to get into Canada now? Not sure how that works. Our first "date" weekend, we went to the Canadian side and went to the Botanical Gardens, poked arund the park by the Falls, etc. So much fun. Reminded me of the one other time I was there wit you.

No the passport thing has been scrapped. They are still working on something like a more secure driver's lisence. We will have to keep trying to work out something. Niagara falls is about 2 hours from my place. So that would work perfect on my part. not to lonfg of a drive with two kids.
